Long Hair!
The day I have been waiting for has finally arrived! (No, Adrian isn't sleeping through the night yet.) Allie's hair all stays in one ponytail now!!! And not only that, but she leaves it in. I'm so excited! Now maybe I can work on getting rid of the bangs!
October 8th, 2008 - 6 Weeks Today
I can't believe Adrian is 6 weeks today! I feel mostly recovered though I think rock climbing last week may have put me back a bit. I was cleared today to get back to normal activity (though cautioned to wait a bit longer before jumping back into climbing). I'm excited to get back out and start doing stuff again!

I have also learned the value of layers. I was bummed that he has so many cute short sleeve onsies that he can't wear because our apartment is Arctic most of the day (I've already started using the fireplace in the mornings). Then it dawned on me that I can just put a long sleeve underneath. I know, I know... duh! Well you try to coming up with good ideas on 4 hours of sleep a night!
Anyway, he looks adorable and it's my favorite way to dress him now. I'm pretty proud of myself that he doesn't stay in his pj's all day!

Potty Training
Allie did her first potty in her big girl potty last night. I was so shocked! It was just a little pee, but we were so excited. I haven't even really been trying yet, but she wanted to sit on her potty after her bath. We definitely need to learn to leave the toilet paper in the potty after it's used but that's what soap is for I guess.

She definitely takes after her dad in this picture and I expect sooner or later her books are going to be joining his pile of magazines on the back of the toilet.

I'm sure she'll just appreciate later in life that I posted pictures of her on the potty.

Big Sister... Big Brother?
Adrian is no longer in my mind a small baby. Allie wanted to hold him this morning and he was too big to put in her lap, so here he is sitting next to her. I'm pretty sure he's grown another couple pounds already.

Tummy Time
Adrian has been pretty good at tummy time the last coupe days. He puts up with it for about 10 to 20 minutes at a time before fussing and even tries holding his head up for a bit. It's so sweet listening to him cooing to himself as he squirms around too.

Doesn't everything look better in Sepia?!
So, I am trying to print photos of my kids to send to family as well as fill pictures frames for my walls. I am always a little embarrassed at my lack of family around the house when new people come to visit. I actually held off putting any pictures up since I didn't think we were going to be in this apartment long enough to make it worth patching holes. However, as we have already renewed our lease once, I guess I was wrong.
So here are a couple great ones I changed to sepia because I LOVE SEPIA photos and these look spectacular in the 5x7's I printed!

Just took this one today and it's definitely my favorite!

This one is already on my blog in color but I had to show you the sepia as well.
